Hello golfers,
Last weekend saw the first real cold snap of the winter with a very heavy frost on Saturday morning and a blanket of snow covering the course come Sunday morning. We are blessed with some fantastic views throughout the year from the clubhouse and even though it led to the course being closed for the day Sunday's snow covered landscape was particularly picturesque.
Now that the temperatures have dropped it has allowed Simon Osborne and his team to get cracking with their winter programme of course works. As many of you may have already seen this includes the removal of some trees, the re-shaping and re-leveling of the 6th tee along with many other smaller projects including adding a soakaway by the 3rd tee which will be completed before spring arrives.
Please keep an eye on both the scrolling bar on the club website and the club's twitter feed (@cuddingtongc) for the latest course information. These will be updated by 7.30am at the latest during the winter months if the weather has caused any change to the course status. We look forward to seeing you at the club this week.
Handicapping System Change
Recently we have begun the switch from Club2000 to Intelligent Golf. This means as of now any future competitions will not show on Howdidido.co.uk, and they will only show on Intelligent Golf. Intelligent Golf will be available through the club website shortly, all members will receive the web address and login details for their Intelligent Golf account within the next few weeks. This new system is a more reliable and user friendly which as time progresses will give you easier access to your handicap record with added functionality. If you have any questions or queries then please do not hesitate to contact the pro shop.

Titleist Demo Stock
Over the last week or so we have now received all of the components for our Titleist fitting cart, including the 915 range of woods, 816 hybrids and 716 irons. The 915 woods and 816 hybrids incorporate Titleist's new ARC (Active Recoil Channel) technology which provides more distance on off-centre strikes. The 716 irons have seen a redistribution of tungsten in the clubhead to provide the optimum launch angles to maximise distance while also increasing the moment of inertia which translates into straighter shots. All of these items are now available for custom fitting sessions which can be done in the swing studio. Please click here to contact the pro shop to book your session!

We have now taken delivery of the new Nike Lunar Control IV shoe which was worn by Rory McIlroy as he won the Race to Dubai title in 2015. Be warned, these shoes are seriously comfortable! Please feel free to come in store and try them for yourself.
