Hello golfers,

With the US Masters now only about a month away there are a few familiar faces finding some form ahead of the first major of the year at Augusta. Adam Scott (who won the Masters in 2013) continued his recent good from by winning the Honda Classic last week having recently switched back to a short putter following the ban on anchored putting strokes in the New Year. Finishing second was Sergio Garcia who has yet to win a Major despite many close calls. Could 2016 be his year? With the current top three of Spieth, Day and McIlroy short of form we may have a new Major winner come April!

Closer to home, work is still progressing nicely on the renovations to the 6th tee which has now been re-shaped and levelled ahead of being re-turfed. The change already looks impressive despite not being finished yet and will be a great addition to what is already one of the tougher holes on the course.

   

You all should have now received your login details for the new website and member's area where you can access handicapping information, club diaries and the latest news. More functions will be added over time so keep checking back for the latest updates. Finally, please note that due to the Thai Cup and St Patrick's plate on Sunday, 13 March, the Mixed Competition that was scheduled for that day has now been moved a week earlier to this Sunday, 6 March.

Social Events

Even though we have only just entered 2016 we have plenty of social events to keep you entertained. Coming up shortly there is:

• St. Patrick' Day Dinner on Friday, 18 March. In what is one of the more lively evenings at the club, music will be provided by the Kilburn Cowboys along. Tickets cost £30 per person which includes dinner.
• Andrew and his catering team will be running a series of Family Sunday Lunches throughout 2016. Special prices which include complimentary starters and desserts are on offer for all children under the age of 12. For more information on the dates available please click here.
• A Jazz evening will be held on Friday, 15 April with music from The Man Overboard Quintet. Tickets cost £18 for Jazz only and £35 for Jazz with a two course meal with the event open to members and their guests.
• A theatre trip to see Sunny Afternoon, a hit musical based on music from The Kinks, which will take place on Wednesday, 20 April. Leaving the club at 12.30pm by coach there will be a matinee performance followed by a two course meal for £52 per person.

We have now received all of the components for our Titleist, Nike and PING fitting carts for 2016 including the Titleist 915 woods and 716 irons, the new PING G series and the Nike Vapour Fly range. With the arrival of Callaway products in the coming weeks we will soon have a comprehensive selection to make sure you have the best club for you in your hands. Titleist Pro V1 - Four for Three Offer

From Monday, 14 March Titleist will once again be running their popular four dozen for the price of three campaign on all Pro V1 Golf balls. To qualify for the deal all orders must be personalised with a message of your choice with the maximum delivery time being four weeks, although this is generally a lot quicker at the beginning of the campaign.

Last week saw the arrival of the latest edition of FootJoy's popular D.N.A shoe which has been given a makeover for 2016. The updated design includes many of the features that have made the D.N.A so popular in recent years including a 3D Foam Collar and a Fitbed system which moulds to the shape of your foot over time. FootJoy's BOA lacing system is also available in selected styles in this year's range, so make sure you pop in to try on a pair for yourself!

Bushnell Price Drop

We still have limited stock of the current Bushnell range which has seen a price reduction in recent weeks. You can now pick up the Tour V3 model for £245 the popular Neo XS watch for £130 and the Neo Ghost unit for £95.
