Hello golfers,
Yesterday saw the ladies section hold their Invitation Day with over 60 golfers teeing it up in some overdue summer sunshine. Taking the top prize was the pairing of Annalie Wilson and Hazel Nicol who scored an excellent 39 points, winning on countback from Tana Churchill and Delyth Roberts. Kate Brown and Anne Colbourn completed the top three after returning a very steady 38 points.
On Saturday night there was an excellent turnout for the Summer Ball with over 160 people filling the marquee. Entertainment was provided by musical act 'Uptown Funk' which was well received by all those who attended. Needless to say the party went on well into the early hours for many and there were a few sore heads on Sunday morning.
Congratulations once again to members of our junior section after another weekend of fine performances. The Christie's Cup team won by 73 points to 61 at Addington Court on Saturday, and have now progressed to the Semi-finals. Cuddington members also dominated the leaderboard of the under 12 Rookie League event at Milford. Buster O'Callaghan demolished the field with a superb 48 points, with Kris Kim (44 points) and Lewis Dimayuga (43 points) completing the top three. Well played boys!

The ever popular Blues Night returns on Saturday, 23 July with music from the Paul Cox band. Tickets cost £25 per person which includes a BBQ (main only) from 7pm., with the music starting at 9pm.
Keep your eyes peeled for information on a new Spanish themed evening, details to be released very shortly.
