Hello golfers,
Congratulations to Julia Brick who is the inaugural winner of the Mixed Stableford series, with a total of 266 points from her best eight scores over the 12 events. These competitions will return in 2017, but will be known as "Club Stablefords" rather than Mixed Stablefords.
Entries are now open for the Pro Shop Christmas Draw, squares on the board are priced at £2.50 individually, five for £10, 10 for £15 or 20 for £20. The draw will take place on Christmas Eve with plenty of fabulous prizes up for grabs.
The 2017 club diaries have now been delivered to us and are ready for collection from the club office, pro shop or spike bar. Please note that you will need your member's swipe card on you when collecting your diary so we can register your collection on our system.

As we head into the final part of 2016, the following social events are now fast approaching:
There is now one spare ticket for An American in Paris which takes place on Wednesday, 29 March 2017. Coach, show and dinner costs £60. The ticket is for a seat at the very edge of theatre but is not restricted view - please contact Sally ASAP if you wish to take this ticket.
Please note that the New Year's Eve Party is now FULLY BOOKED. If you would like to be added to the reserve list for this event, please contact Sally as soon as possible.
On Friday, 27 January we will be holding our Burns Night Celebrations. Traditional Burns Fayre will be served followed by some Ceilidh-Scottish Country Dancing. Tickets cost £35 per person - the wearing of kilts is optional but highly encouraged.
This year's Men's Annual Dinner will take place on Friday, 3 February. The black tie event will include a three course meal followed by entertainment from comedian Ian Irving. The event is open to members and their guests with tickets costing £50 per person.
We are pleased to announce that we have been able to secure tickets to see The Girls at The Phoenix Theatre in May next year. The Girls is the true story of the Yorkshire Calendar Girls, a group of ordinary ladies who achieved something extraordinary. This new musical comedy brings together the writing talents of Gary Barlow and Tim Firth (Calendar Girls, Kinky Boots), who grew up in the same village in the North of England, and have been friends for 25 years. Titleist 917 Range
Titleist have announced their new line up for drivers and fairway woods, with the 917 range now available for fitting ahead of their launch later this month. The 917 models benefit from a new SureFit CG moveable sole weight which is the result of a five year research process. This weighting system, along with the SureFit hosel, allows for precise fitting and fine tuning the performance of the club to find the optimum ball flight for the golfer. Both the drivers and the fairways are available in two models (D2 and D3 plus F2 and F3) which offer different design profiles and performance characteristics.
