Hello golfers,

Last week saw the beginning of the European Tour Qualifying School, with players teeing it up at one of six venues in the next few weeks. Getting a card to compete next season is no small feat, if you were to start at stage one you will need to play a total of 14 rounds and finish in the top 20 at stage one and two, and the top 25 at the final stage. Considering around 1,000 players enter the qualifying school the chances of making it are slim at best. The final stage is played in Spain in mid-November.

For those who have signed-up for the Christmas Party night, please be aware that the date has now been moved to Saturday, 16 December. This event is perfect for any members wishing to book a Christmas party for work colleagues or groups of friends. Further details about this event will become available soon.

Entries are now open for this winter’s Dutch Cup foursomes knockout. To ensure your pairing is included in the draw please add you name to the sign-in sheet on the main noticeboard. The deadline for entries is Sunday, 8 October.

Please note that both tees will be closed between 12:00pm and 1:00pm this Saturday as the Celts vs. English match takes place.
