Dear members,

I hope you are all making the most of this milder weather and enjoying your golf. Following on from an impressive run of form over the past month Justin Rose came up just short as he made three bogeys on his back nine at the European Tour season ending event in Dubai. This meant Tommy Fleetwood who has been brilliant all year won his first Race to Dubai title.

Ross Fisher has ended the year sixth in the Order of Merit and as a result qualified to represent Europe in next year’s EurAsia cup. Ross as we are aware is an impressive driver of the golf ball, but if you would like to see a mix of both power and accuracy filmed last week in Dubai please click here.

Following a conversation with some of you during the week I had a quick count up of this year's hole-in-ones and was impressed to see that so far this year there have been 17. This includes those from Stephen Rhodes, Rob Pearce and John Towers since the beginning of October. I will have to delve further into our records to discover what the record number of hole-in-ones at Cuddington is during one year. Ian Booker is already in the record books as many of you are aware for his hole-in-ones during 1966 - 67 as he managed to hole-in-one at all five of our short holes during this period.

Social Events

Coming up shortly we have:

• Club Christmas Lunch - Sunday, 10 December - £28 per person which includes Andrew and his team's fantastic Christmas meal. There are only three tables left so be sure to book before spaces run out.
• Christmas Party Night - Saturday, 16 December - £40 per person. This is a great opportunity for those who have yet to book their staff Christmas party. The night involves a two course carvery and a disco until 12:00pm.

Our new winter collection of Cuddington crested knitwear has now arrived

For this coming season we have swapped manufacturer from Glenbrae to Alan Paine to provide our crested knitwear. Over the years Alan Paine have attained a worldwide reputation for producing quality knitwear and have done so for over a century. We now have a full range of crested jumpers in stock which includes both lamb's wool and merino versions in quarter zips and V necks. We even have some plain cashmere in a sea of colours.
