Dear members, 

As another week passes we are getting closer to the spring and a new golfing season. The first of this year’s hole-in-ones was achieved last week by Cormac Murray on the 8th hole. This was apparently his 5th hole-in-one. I say apparently because he has also had the absolute misfortune to do what most of us fear the most and achieve one of these unwitnessed. This one was witnessed and it was achieved with a 6-iron. I wonder how many hole-in-ones will be recorded at Cuddington through the course of 2018?

By now hopefully you have all received the first of two emails this week introducing you all to our new tee booking system that goes live on Monday. As the email states “for the most part the way you play golf at Cuddington will not change”. A second email fully explaining how to use the system will be sent over the next day or two.

Please look out for one further email this week inviting everyone to a presentation by John Nicholson on Thursday, 22 February at 7:00pm. John has recently spent time reporting on our woodland and following the presentation will be available for questions. John is widely recognised as one of the country’s leading experts in his area of expertise and more information can be found from his website by clicking here.

New arrivals

The new Callaway Rogue drivers and irons are now available to demo and full fitting is available in our studio. Please click here for full information. Meanwhile, TaylorMade’s latest offerings the M3 and M4 will be available very shortly and you can read all about them by clicking here.

Once we have had the TaylorMade woods in we will trial both them and the Callaway woods ourselves and provide a brief review providing our personal findings about the two manufacturers.
