The course reopened on Tuesday morning and what a relief to finally see the course green again.

During the week the course was shut the paths between the sixth green and seventh tee were completed, which I hope you will all agree improve that area considerably.

On Friday, 27 April Dennis Hayes is running a Charity Golf Day “Return of the Liberators” who work with WW11 veterans. For further information please visit their website by clicking here. There are limited spaces so to avoid disappointment please add your name to the entry list on the main noticeboard as slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

County cards for the coming year have now arrived and are available from the professional’s shop.

On Wednesday, Dave Jones recorded a hole-in-one on the 13th hole. I believe that was Dave’s first hole-in-one and the second at Cuddington so far this year.

US Open Marshalling at the US Open Qualifying - Monday, 4 June

On Monday, 4 June Cuddington are providing a team of volunteers to marshall at the US Open Qualifying taking place at Walton Heath. This is a fantastic opportunity and anyone wishing to help should sign-up on the sheet found on the main noticeboard. Once Brian Groves has full details, he will then contact you with further information nearer the date.
