Hello Golfers,

Well, following a dubious week of weather the course is once again freshly cut, green and looks a picture as the sun is shining. Unfortunately, the weekends snow did push the course maintenance back a day but I am pleased to say that it was completed on Wednesday morning with no issues.

As everyone is aware this is the first year that we have sent AGM notifications and subscriptions by email. For those of you that opted in to receiving these, thank you. This has greatly reduced our costs and administration time. There are many reasons that not everyone is in a position to receive these communications by email but if you have not yet replied and would like to receive future documents by email please can you contact the office as soon as possible.

The Men’s Toilets and Showers were finally handed over on Monday morning and I am pleased to report that the initial feedback has all been positive. I believe they are now as they should be for a club of our stature.

Please note that we have been made aware by the police that there have been a number of burglaries on Banstead Road, Gilhams Avenue and Golf Side over the past couple of weeks. The police have asked for our help and should you see any suspicious activities to inform them.

US Open Marshalling at the US Open Qualifying - Monday, 4 June

On Monday, 4 June Cuddington are providing a team of volunteers to marshall at the US Open Qualifying taking place at Walton Heath. This is a fantastic opportunity and anyone wishing to help should sign-up on the sheet found on the main noticeboard. Once Brian Groves has full details, he will then contact you with further information nearer the date.
