Hello Golfers,

Summer has arrived, I hope you are enjoying the course which I have to say is playing exceptionally well.
On Saturday, we have the Captains Charity Day in aid of “Wooden Spoon” the children’s charity of rugby.

There are still a couple of spaces available, so please contact the Professionals Shop if you would like to play. As per the Captains email there many Auction items available, so if you would like to make a bid but are unable to be there on the day please email me. The Club Championship and Scratch Knockout sign up sheets are on the main notice board so if you would like to play please add your name to the lists. Following the final round of the Club Championship there is a BBQ that is open to all. The Club Championship is always a great day so please come up, hopefully enjoy the sun and watch the finale of the championship as the competitors come up the 18th.

As mentioned in last week's newsletter our Wednesday Evening nine hole competitions will be commencing on this coming Wednesday and I hope to see many of you playing and dining afterwards. These have become very popular again.

US Open Marshalling at the US Open Qualifying - Monday, 4 June

On Monday, 4 June Cuddington are providing a team of volunteers to marshall at the US Open Qualifying taking place at Walton Heath. This is a fantastic opportunity and anyone wishing to help should sign-up on the sheet found on the main noticeboard. Once Brian Groves has full details, he will then contact you with further information nearer the date.
