Last week's BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth failed to disappoint as Korean Byeong-Hun An beat the tournament scoring record after his 21 under par total gave him a commanding six shot victory over the rest of the field. The event also saw bumper crowds with over 113,000 people flocking through the gates over the week to take in the golf served up by some of the world's best players. Many of those players also competed at Monday's US Open Qualifier at Walton Heath where a contingent of Cuddington members helped out marshalling the 36 hole event, many thanks to all those who volunteered.

The Surrey team which was captained by Cuddington member Enrique Dimayuga were the winners on the day after triumphing in both their matches. The feedback from the visiting teams and parents has been excellent so far, with the presentation and condition of the course coming in for particular praise.
Finally, please note that this year's Generations Cup which was due to be played on Sunday, 7 June has now been moved to Sunday, 30 August where it will merge with the Family Golf Day. We look forward to seeing you at the club this week.
