Ladies Open
Last Thursday we held our Ladies Summer Open with over 70 visiting players taking to the fairways. Managing to dodge most of the rain that ruined last week, there were some excellent scores with Di Gregory and Pauline Stokes from Royal Mid Surrey (pictured with Ladies Captain Sue Jones) topping the leader board at the end of the day with 40 points.
Generations Cup
On Sunday there was a healthy turnout for the Generations Cup which sees teams of family relations take part in a foursomes competition. Winning the junior and parent/grandparent category was Oliver Cleeve-Bright and John Cleeve (pictured) with 33 points, while the adult and child over 18 category was won by Sophie and Bob Pullin. The final category that was contested was that of an adult with an 'adopted' junior which was won by Paul Vermont and James Crossett.
RAF Battle of Britain Anniversary Raffle
Courtesy of the suppliers of our club logo'd shirts and sweaters, we currently have a fantastic prize to be won.
For the small entry fee of £2, you can enter a raffle to win a limited edition scarf which commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
All entries will then go into a national draw on Tuesday, 15 September where one lucky winner will win the chance to take a flight in a Tiger Moth plane. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
Please visit the pro shop to enter!
Captain's Prize and Charity Day
Spaces are running out for this year's Captain's Prize and Charity day which will be held on Saturday, 19 September. The four ball better ball event is open to all members (including 5 day members) and their guests with all green fees being waived for the afternoon.
The cost for the day will be £30 per person which includes a two course dinner, prizes and a donation to Peter's chosen cause which this year is the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. There are currently some fantastic prizes lined up such as a three night stay at Quinta do Lago including golf and spa treatments.
Four Seasons Fairways also have some exclusive offers for Cuddington members - for more information please click here. Make sure you enter soon using the sign in sheet on the main noticeboard to book your spot for one of the most popular days in the club diary!
Sign In Sheets
Members are reminded to please sign in at the pro Shop before heading out onto the course. While tee times will not be available to book in advance (apart from Saturday & Sunday mornings as per usual), this system will give us a better idea of who is on the course at any given time which will help us manage the flow of the course during busy periods and to advise other members of the best time to start later in the day.
