Hello golfers,

It was good to see Cuddington member and European Tour player Ross Fisher perform well in last week's World Golf Championship event in China. Taking on a world class field Ross shot rounds of 69, 69, 65 and 68 to finish 17 under par and three shots back of eventual winner Russel Knox. Performing well in these big events is important with qualification for next year's Ryder Cup now on radar for many of Europe's top players.

Congratulations to S. Cunningham who was the lucky winner of the First Prize in the Captain's Charity raffle winning a PowaKaddy FW3 electric trolley. The full draw has now been completed with many other prizes now available to collect. Please see the winner's sheet on the main noticeboard to see if you have won!

For all those of you that have an eye for a bargain we will be holding a special Black Friday sale on Friday, 27 November. The sales bonanza takes place the day after Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday in November. On Black Friday last year, British consumers spent £810m on online purchases alone. That works out to a rate of £9,375 every second! This year, internet sales over the 24-hour period are expected to surpass £1billion for the first time in UK history. With Christmas in mind please make sure that if you would like to order an item that we may not have in stock or wish to place a custom order that you do so as soon as possible. Although the majority of our autumn/winter stock is now in, if you have a gift in mind for someone that we currently don't stock then please just ask! The Surrey Golf Rookie Tour Presentation 

At the Surrey Golf Rookie Tour Presentation at Pine Ridge last Sunday many Cuddington members collected their trophies from events they have won throughout the year. The picture attached shows James Crossett, Edward Dimayuga, Callum McManus, Enrique Dimayuga , Louis Dimayuga and Kevin Lee with their cups and trophies. Two other Cuddington Juniors, Luke Jones and Oliver Gray also received prizes for their play this year. Congratulations again to all involved, keep up the good work for 2016!

  

Social Events

Please note that the Men's Annual dinner has been rescheduled until February 2015 - we hope to have a date confirmed by next week for this.

Coming up on Friday, 11 December there is the Christmas Party Night which will consist of welcome drinks at 7pm followed by a two course buffet. A disco will then run throughout the rest of the evening. Tickets again cost £36 per person.

Finally, two tickets have become available for this Saturday's Rat Pack evening at the club with tickets costing £30 per person. To book your spot at either event please email Sally in the Office by clicking here or by adding you name to the sign in sheets on the main noticeboard.
