As everyone will be aware from the Club Diary, the first of our Major course works takes place next week. As you are all aware, these are essential works which help to keep our playing surfaces as healthy as possible throughout the year.

As always, our staff will do their best to complete the work in a timely manner. During the week, the greens will:

• Be double scarified.
• Hollow tined to a depth of 90mm
• Vert drained to a depth of 200mm.
• Top dressed with approximately 25 tonnes of sand.
